Who handles your information
Accqui Ltd operates these services. Contact support@accqui.com about privacy, your account or a decision. This notice covers Rewards members, business users and event customers. Careers and other products have their own notices; their accounts are not interchangeable with Rewards.
What we collect
Account details include your name, email, authentication identifier and sign-in/security records. A Google sign-in supplies the identity information needed to link your account; it does not give us access to your inbox. Business accounts include the contact details, venue information and offers you provide.
Rent submissions include your rental month, payment date, amount, payer/recipient type, recipient name and uploaded screenshot, photograph or PDF. The document may contain an address, payment reference or third-party details. Hide unrelated transactions, full account numbers and unnecessary sensitive information, while leaving the evidence of rent legible. Do not upload someone else’s document without authority.
Rewards records include verification outcomes, point movements, saved places, offer activations, vouchers, redemption references and business-reported honour confirmations. A referral code may record who introduced you. Optional spending feedback records the band you choose; it is an estimate, not a bank transaction or verified sale.
Guest event bookings require a name, email and mobile number, along with the event, ticket quantity, price, order status and ticket/check-in references. Stripe processes payment details. Accqui does not store your full card number or wallet credentials. We also receive technical request information used for security and reliability, such as IP address, browser details and request timing.
Why we use it
We use account, rent and reward information to provide the service you request, evaluate eligibility, record points and fulfil offers. We use booking details to reserve tickets, process payment status, deliver tickets and handle support. These service activities rely on performance of our contract with you or steps requested before entering that contract.
Security, duplicate-claim detection, referral attribution and limited operational reporting serve our legitimate interests in preventing abuse and running a reliable service. Required accounting or legal records are retained to meet applicable obligations. Optional marketing relies on a separate choice: booking or uploading rent does not subscribe you to advertising. You can object to direct marketing at any time and ask us to assess an objection to legitimate-interest processing.
Automatic rent checks and decisions
Google Cloud Document AI reads payment information from evidence. Server-side rules compare the extracted amount, date and recipient with your submission, eligibility periods and duplicate records. The result can confirm eligibility, request clearer information or refuse an invalid/duplicate claim. Confirmed eligible rent follows the published earning rule; AI does not choose your balance or reward price.
A technical failure or uncertain reading is not proof that you did not pay rent. You can provide clearer evidence or contact support@accqui.com to explain or challenge a result and request human assistance. These checks assess promotional reward eligibility, not your creditworthiness or tenancy rights. Business offer-drafting AI uses Google Cloud Vertex AI where enabled; business users must review a draft before publishing it.
Retention and deletion
Account preferences are kept while needed for your active account and support. Closing an account removes access and starts the deletion process, but does not erase every accounting, anti-abuse or dispute record instantly. Point corrections remain auditable rather than being silently removed.
The approved standard for original rent evidence is 12 months from the final verification decision, with longer retention only for an active dispute, fraud investigation or legal requirement. An extension must be justified and reviewed, not indefinite by default. This is the agreed policy for this draft, not proof that the deployed deletion job implements it. The runtime schedule, calendar-month calculation, unresolved submissions, exception holds and account-deletion handling must be checked before publication.
Derived eligibility and points-ledger records have separate purposes for reconciliation, duplicate prevention and disputes. Their retention is not automatically the same as that of uploaded documents. Ticket, payment, email, security-log and backup retention must be documented against the actual configured systems before release. We do not promise an unverified deletion deadline.
Your choices and rights
Necessary account and rent information is needed to provide those services; without adequate evidence we cannot award rent points or confirm rent eligibility. Guest tickets require delivery/contact details but do not require a Rewards account. Spending feedback and marketing are optional. Businesses cannot require access to your rent evidence.
Promotional emails require a separate, unticked opt-in. Joining, buying a ticket or uploading rent evidence is not marketing consent. You can withdraw that choice. Essential ticket confirmations, account-security messages and requested service updates are not conditional on marketing consent; we must not disguise promotions as essential messages.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, withdraw an optional consent and object to relevant processing. Email support@accqui.com; we may need to verify your identity safely. We normally respond within one month, with any lawful extension explained. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. See the account-deletion page for available self-service options.
